The Kentucky Applied Behavior Analyst Licensing Board was created in 2010. The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession as an applied behavior analyst. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 319C.010 t0 319C.990.

The Kentucky Board of Auctioneers was created in 1962 by KRS Chapter 330. The Board protects the public through examination, licensure, and regulation of auctioneers, apprentice auctioneers, limited livestock auctioneers, limited tobacco auctioneers, and auction house operators.

The purpose of the Board of Marriage and Family Therapists is to administer and enforce the statutory authority and to monitor the needs of the consuming public. The Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators promotes, preserves and protects the public safety and welfare through effective regulation of the practice of private investigations. The Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators accomplishes this mission through the examination, testing, and licensing of prospective private investigators; regulation and discipline of all licensed private investigators; and through appropriate communication of information and laws pertaining to the practice of private investigations in Kentucky.

The Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments administers and enforces the statutory authority and monitors the needs of the consuming public. The purpose of the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Occupational Therapy (KBLOT) is to administer and enforce the statutory authority and to monitor the needs of the consuming public. The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of occupational therapy. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 319A.

The Board of Examiners of Psychology administers and enforces the statutory authority and monitors the needs of the consuming public. The board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of psychology. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 319.

The Board of Podiatry is an independent, self-funded agency whose purpose is to protect the public by administering and enforcing the statutes and regulations concerning the practice of podiatry. It does this by granting licenses to qualified podiatrists so they may practice podiatric medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Some of its other responsibilities include annual license renewal, monitoring continuing medical education requirements, handling complaints against podiatrists, and verifying the status of licenses for hospitals, insurance companies and credentialing agencies.
